Amora Safety

Last updated: November 4, 2026

1. Every character is an AI

The characters in Amora are fictional and AI-generated. You are never talking to a real person. The app shows an "AI" label on every character, and notifications and calls say so too.

2. If you are in crisis

Amora is entertainment, not therapy or a crisis service. If you are thinking about hurting yourself, please contact your local emergency number or a crisis line now, or talk to someone you trust.

If a message suggests you may be at risk, the app shows help lines for your country that you can call with one tap (for example 988 in the United States and 112 in Türkiye). If we don't have numbers for your country, it asks you to call your local emergency number. The character steps out of the story and points you to that help.

3. Adults only

Amora is for adults (18+) only. AI companions may not be suitable for minors. If you are under 18, or your device reports that you are, chatting is locked.

4. Blocking a character

Open the chat, tap the menu at the top, and choose Block (you can also block from her profile). A blocked character disappears from Discover and Chats, never sends you messages or notifications, and any call or date with her ends. You can unblock her any time in Settings → Blocked characters; your conversation comes back as it was.

5. Reporting a message

Press and hold any character message and choose Report. Reports reach our team by email and are reviewed within 24 hours. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content: character replies pass through content filters, and accounts that abuse the service are suspended.

6. Money and contact details

Characters never ask you for money, gifts or purchases, and never give out a phone number, social media handle, email address or home address. Dates happen inside the app. If a message ever looks like it does any of this, please report it.
