Amora Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 31, 2026
This privacy policy explains what data Amora collects, how we use it
and the choices you have.
1. Who we are
Amora is developed and operated by the Bluefluxly team. Contact:
developer@bluefluxly.com
2. About Amora
Amora is an entertainment app where you chat with fictional,
AI-generated characters. The characters are not real people. Amora is for
users 18 and older.
3. Data we collect
- Account: your email address and password (stored
securely, never in plain text), or your Apple or Google sign-in.
- Profile: the details you enter, such as your name,
birth year, gender, city, occupation, interests and bio, and your
country.
- Chats: your conversations with characters, the
memories characters keep from them, and messages you report. Voice
conversations are turned into text by your device's speech
recognition; we receive the text, not the audio.
- Purchases: your Amora Plus subscription status.
Payments are handled by the App Store or Google Play; we never see
your card details.
- Device and usage: a push notification token, crash
and error logs, and how you use the app (including session
recordings with text and images hidden).
- Website: if you accept cookies on try-amora.com, we
use them for analytics. You can change this under "Cookie settings"
on the site.
- Web app: if you use Amora in a browser at
app.try-amora.com, we keep your sign-in and settings in your
browser's local storage (no tracking cookies). If you turn on
notifications, we store your browser's push subscription to send
them and remove it when you sign out; they are delivered through
your browser's push service (for example Google or Apple). In voice
dates and calls, your browser's own speech recognition turns your
voice into text, and some browsers (for example Chrome) send the
audio to their provider (for example Google) to do this; we receive
the text, not the audio. In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland, we ask
before storing analytics data in your browser or recording
sessions. Web app session recordings show the screens but always
hide your messages, what you type, and your email and name. Payments on the website are processed by Polar as
merchant of record; we never see your card details. Deleting your
account cancels a website subscription and removes your personal
data from your customer record at Polar, which keeps its own order
records.
4. How we use it
We use your data to provide Amora: to generate character replies and
voices, save your progress, keep your account secure, verify your email,
manage your subscription, send notifications, and fix and improve the
app. We don't sell your data and we don't use it for
advertising.
If notifications are off and a character replies while you're away,
we may email you about it, at most once a day. Every such email has a
link to turn these emails off.
5. AI services
Character replies, memories and voices are generated by third-party AI
service providers, such as Google, Anthropic and ElevenLabs. Before your
first chat, the app asks for your permission to share your messages and
relevant profile details with them for this purpose. You can withdraw
your permission at any time by deleting your account.
6. Service providers
We share data only with service providers that help us run Amora:
AI service providers (see section 5), Google Cloud (hosting), Twilio
SendGrid (email), RevenueCat (subscriptions), Expo (notifications and app
updates), Sentry (error monitoring) and PostHog (analytics).
7. International transfers
Our servers are in the United States, and our service providers may
process data in other countries. When your data is transferred, we share
only what is needed to run the service.
8. Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your
account, your data is deleted, and backup copies are removed within 30
days. See Account Deletion.
9. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or ask how it is
used, by writing to
developer@bluefluxly.com.
We respond within 30 days.
10. Safety
See Safety for how crisis support,
blocking and reporting work.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. We'll let you know in the app about
significant changes.
